[What is “Ike Men Sengoku: Love That Crosses Time -Eien-”?]

“Ike Men Sengoku ◆ Love That Crosses Time” (hereafter referred to as Ike Men Sengoku) is a romance game aimed at women, following the story of a protagonist (player) who time-travels from modern times into Japan’s Warring States era and embarks on sweet yet bittersweet romances with historical warlords.

In 2025, this series celebrates its 10th anniversary. To ensure it continues thriving for years to come, the latest installment—“Ike Men Sengoku: Love That Crosses Time -Eien-” (hereafter “-Eien-")—has inherited the original game’s world while enhancing gameplay systems for greater comfort and ease of play. Special transition features have also been included for long-time players.

With the app’s launch, Act Three of the new chapter has also been released. In addition to the original 17 warlords, five new members from the “Ashikaga Army” have joined, bringing the total number of characters to 22. Since the story unfolds in the Warring States era, some warlords naturally oppose one another. The introduction of the Ashikaga Army alters the political landscape and adds even greater depth to the game’s world.

In Act Three of the new chapter, a new faction—the Ashikaga Army—enters the scene, bringing fresh turmoil to the romantic relationships between the princess and various warlords.
From the “Worldview” menu, players can read the prologue of Act Three, where they see the princess encountering mysterious young men in town. After Nobunaga summoned her, she became known as the “Princess Who Brings Good Fortune.” Unbeknownst to them, these individuals were actually retainers of Ashikaga Yoshiteru, the former shogun of the Ashikaga shogunate.

The long-form romance stories are advanced by consuming “Story Tickets.” Each chapter consists of five scenes, requiring one Story Ticket per scene. Players receive up to five free Story Tickets daily (replenished at 5 a.m.), allowing them to enjoy the story gradually. For those eager to progress faster, tickets can also be purchased using diamonds.

Once read, stories can be revisited until the next chapter is unlocked—perfect for thoroughly enjoying every moment with your beloved.

As the story progresses, choices appear that increase either “Affection” (happiness) or “Passion” levels. Higher Affection unlocks love letters and still cards and leads to branching endings. Special items are also available to boost Affection—use them wisely for deeper enjoyment.

Romantic trials may also occur mid-story. Completing them requires fulfilling certain conditions, such as purchasing a specific avatar. There are two types: Premium and Normal avatars. Only the Premium ones can be bought with diamonds—and they enhance special romantic scenes with greater sweetness.

Romance with Nobunaga can be enjoyed from any of the three storylines: main, sequel, or third sequel.
While on a mission to purchase textiles, the princess is suddenly recalled and returns to Osaka Castle where Nobunaga awaits. Worried that something has happened to him, she’s relieved when he greets her warmly and embraces her tenderly—such sweet exchanges deepen their romance and leave hearts racing.

Oda Nobunaga had once brought peace to the nation, but now a revived Ashikaga shogunate is stirring unrest in Kyoto—their former stronghold.

Amid this tension, a letter arrives demanding that “the Princess Who Brings Good Fortune” be surrendered. To preserve the fragile peace she’s just found, the princess chooses to leave Oda’s forces and hide among ordinary people.
But her wish is not granted—she is abducted and taken to Kyoto’s palace.

Zōzō, whose personality is naturally negative, appears nervous and fearful in front of the princess despite being her captor. His demeanor resembles that of a wild animal—evoking protective instincts. Amid the hostile atmosphere of the Ashikaga Army, Zōzō becomes the one comforting the princess. Gentle yet dangerous, he gradually captures her heart.

Following the letter from the Ashikaga Army, another message arrives—this time from cultural figure Sen no Rikyū.
It expresses his desire to host a tea ceremony so she may experience “his ideal realm.” Yet it also includes an provocative note: “If you don’t respond with dialogue, your reputation and that of Oda’s army will be tarnished.” This reveals the unique personality of Rikyū.

While the warlords advise against engaging in provocation, the princess decides to attend the tea ceremony herself—believing she can help preserve peace.

At the tea ceremony, Rikyū wears a calm smile but remains unreadable. Still, he subtly shows concern for her nervousness—creating an enigmatic presence that’s impossible to dislike.

However, a poisoning scandal erupts on the spot, and the princess becomes the prime suspect. Soon after, she is placed under house arrest by Rikyū—and the story takes a tense turn.

Using gold coins or diamonds to spin gacha allows players to obtain avatars and character cards. The beautifully designed cards can be viewed anytime in the collection, offering joy from collecting.

Avatars are usable in the “Princess Dress-Up” feature. Players can change not only their princess’s outfit but also redecorate her room. Cards and avatars are obtainable through story progress and events, adding even more vibrancy to life in the Sengoku period.
