The Game Bakers has announced that the release date for their climbing game “Cairn” (available on PC / PS5) has been delayed to Q1 2026. The original planned release date was November 5.
The reason for the delay is that the team needs a bit more time to create a game that will leave a lasting impression after players finish it. After five years of development, the game content is already complete; only optimization, bug fixing, and polishing remain.
Additionally, an update to the demo version will be released in line with this delay, and it’s expected to launch soon.
