Marvelous has released a free update, version 1.1.0, for Ryū no Kuni Rune Factory, available on PC (link), Nintendo Switch 2 (link), and Nintendo Switch (link) on October 2, 2025.
This update introduces a new “High Difficulty Battle Stage” available after clearing the main quest “Land of Dragons,” and unlocks a new expansion area in “Summer Village” upon reaching level 8. Additionally, the bond level cap has been raised from 10 to 100, with various fixes and improvements aimed at enhancing gameplay comfort.

A new feature available after clearing the main quest “Land of Dragons.” The monsters in this high-difficulty stage are powerful and will present a serious challenge—be sure to prepare thoroughly before attempting them.
Upon first completion, players receive a recipe. Additionally, rare gems can be obtained from defeated monsters.
◆ Bond Level Cap Raised from 10 to 100!
The bond level cap has been increased to 100. When a character’s bond level reaches certain thresholds, new recipes are unlocked.
You’ll also receive new recipes related to specific characters and see their stats increase. Deepen your relationships with your favorite characters!
◆ New Expansion Area Unlocked in “Summer Village”!

When “Summer Village” reaches level 8, a new expansion area will be unlocked. After unlocking, you can access the new region from the teleportation point near “Mystic Shop Emerald.” Enjoy building and developing your village in this fresh new area!
