Today (October 2, 2025), Nintendo has launched the official book titled “Nintendo Museum Official Book Vol. 1” at the Art Gallery on the second floor of the first exhibition hall of the Nintendo Museum, which marks one year since its opening. The price is 1,650 yen (tax included).
This book provides in-depth explanations about the Nintendo Museum, along with a special feature celebrating the 40th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. Two versions—Japanese and English—are available for sale. The book is exclusively sold at the museum and accepts only cashless payments.
Additionally, to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Super Mario Bros., the Nintendo Museum is offering a special-design entry pass. From December 3, 2025, through April 27, 2026, the facility will also feature illuminated displays. At the photo spot near the tunnel, an exhibit featuring the Super Mario Bros. 40th Anniversary logo will be on display.
The Nintendo Museum opened on October 2, 2024, in Uji City, Kyoto Prefecture, as Nintendo’s official museum. It showcases products released by Nintendo throughout its history and offers interactive experiences such as games inspired by these products and workshops. Today marks the one-year anniversary of its opening.
