Sony Interactive Entertainment today (October 2, 2025) announced details—including the release period—regarding the free-to-play titles for October available to subscribers of its subscription service, [PlayStation Plus] (hereafter referred to as PS Plus). The free games are accessible across all PS Plus plans.
The October free games feature three titles: “Alan Wake 2,” a survival horror game following the stories of writer “Alan Wake” and FBI investigator “Saga Anderson”; “Goat Simulator 3,” a surreal title in which you rampage across Sun Angora Island as a goat; and “Cocoon,” an adventure game that unravels cosmic mysteries through intricate puzzles. All three titles will be available from October 7 to November 3.
Additionally, starting October 7, “Midnight Murder Club” will be added to the “Game Trials” feature included with the Premium plan. Players can experience up to one hour of gameplay, and if they purchase the full version, their progress and trophies will carry over seamlessly.
