Wakuwaku Games has announced the release of the PC game Dive Destructor, developed by independent creator Yugi Kuro, with its Steam store page now live. The game is scheduled for release in 2026.

This title is a retro-style FPS centered around destroying an underwater base located beneath Odaiba in Tokyo.

In the year 4078, Tokyo’s Odaiba is under control of the corrupt corporation “Touva Co.” Their genetically enhanced humans have eradicated most of humanity and terrestrial life. However, some augmented beings rebelled against Touva and fled to an underground base beneath Tokyo Bay, where they continue sabotaging development projects. In retaliation, Touva kidnaps unemployed cyborgs and drops them into the underwater base with explosive collars attached. Today, another eel-like creature has been selected for demolition duty—and a bomb is fastened around its neck…

As an agent of Touva, players navigate through the submerged facility armed with a nail gun and drill, facing various enemies along the way. The underwater complex consists of illegal structures—cinemas, factories, submarine bases, and undersea railways—that must be destroyed to eliminate unlawful occupants.

The protagonist, wearing a bomb around their neck, will be blown apart if they oppose Touva’s orders. Yet, it seems there is an unknown individual behind the scenes orchestrating events… As players advance through the base, uncovering the conspiracy and searching for a way to remove the collar becomes their ultimate mission.
