■ New Content: “Bunbu Taikei” (Cultural and Martial Duel)

A new upcoming event featuring two competitive fields—“Cultural Battle” and “Martial Battle.”

The Cultural Battle will involve answering quiz questions based on the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, with rewards granted for correct answers.

The second component, Martial Battle, is a special one-on-one match format composed of three stages: “General Selection,” “Pre-Battle Deployment,” and “Combat.”

First comes General Selection—choosing 12 generals to be used in the team formation. Players cannot freely select all their generals; instead, each player must build their roster using four shared generals that both players can access, along with eight draftable generals selected from a pool of 28.

The draft process is split into two phases. In Phase One, two of the four shared generals are revealed first. Then, each player selects four generals from a list of 14 available draft choices. In Phase Two, the remaining two shared generals are unveiled, and an additional 14 unused generals are added to the pool for another round of drafting.

In the Pre-Battle Deployment phase, nine generals are chosen from the initial 12 selected to form three teams of three. Then, in Combat Phase, each team battles against one another until one side’s forces reach zero, determining the victor.

Only nine out of twelve generals will be used—forming three teams of three members. Thumbnail image No.016 / Live stream report featuring new content for “Sangokushi Shin Sensen” and gameplay footage of “Nobunaga no Yabou Shin Sensen” at TGS 2025

In this Martial Battle, players cannot use the generals selected by their opponent in the draft phase. Furthermore, the release of shared generals in the second half may alter available strategies. This makes the event a true test of player knowledge and skill.

Besides these announcements, the broadcast also featured information about the “Shin Sensen” booth at TGS 2025 as well as in-game exchange codes for players who haven’t yet watched it—so be sure to check them out if you missed the stream.
