Soft Source today (October 2, 2025) announced that the physical version of the horror game “DreadOut Remastered Collection” for PS5 and Nintendo Switch will be released in Japan on January 29, 2026, priced at ¥5,720 (tax included).
This title features remastered versions of “DreadOut,” developed by Indonesia-based Digital Happiness, and its spin-off, “DreadOut: Keepers of the Dark.”
In DreadOut, players control Linda, a high school girl striving to escape from a forsaken abandoned town. Armed with her smartphone and a DSLR camera, she uncovers mysterious puzzles and confronts terrifying forces.
In DreadOut: Keepers of the Dark, Linda is pulled into a mirror world by a mysterious “woman in red.” This realm serves as a portal connecting eight cursed domains, where over 13 horrifying spirits await to attack her.
