A photo studio exclusively for cosplayers, “Mori no Photostudio ~Tamba~,” operated by Kakerutanba, will open its new guesthouse, “Mashiro – A Historic House That’s ‘Photo-Ready’ (Hikari)”, on November 1, 2025. The facility is housed in a traditional Japanese farmhouse over 180 years old located in the Oyama area of Tamba-Shoyama City.

This facility is a guesthouse that enables both cosplay photography and overnight stays. Designed as a “hub” connecting urban cosplayers and creative individuals with local landscapes, it aims to inspire creativity through the harmonious blend of seasonal nature and historic architecture.
The property features locations optimized for natural lighting, making it ideal not only for individual shoots but also for group “cosplay combined photography sessions.” Additionally, visitors can participate in Japanese cultural experiences and opportunities to interact with local residents.
On October 22, an opening ceremony will be held featuring demo photo shoots by cosplayers and a guided tour open to local community members.
