Sega today (October 2, 2025) announced that it will host the “Sonic Racing NiJiSanji Cup Team Battle” starting at 8:00 PM on October 4th for the racing game “Sonic Racing CrossWorlds” available on PC / Nintendo Switch 2 / PS5 / Xbox Series X|S / Nintendo Switch / PS4 / Xbox One.
This event will feature virtual streamers from the NiJiSanji agency, Akina Saegusa and Minato Fuwa, serving as team leaders, leading their respective teams in a thrilling race battle. A total of eight virtual streamers will participate, split into two teams for intense competition.
The match will be streamed live on each participant’s YouTube channel. For details, please see below:

Additionally, to commemorate the collaboration with Hatsune Miku, a special event titled “Hatsune Miku Festival” will run from 9:00 AM on October 3rd through 8:59 AM on October 6th. By collecting festival points during this period, players can earn exclusive in-game items.
Furthermore, a free update has added the racer “Hatsune Miku” and the original vehicle “Divina Machina.” Five original tracks from the collaborative project between “Sonic the Hedgehog” and “Hatsune Miku,” titled Project ONSOKU, have also been implemented into the game’s jukebox.

Sega Corporation is pleased to announce that it will host the “Sonic Racing NiJiSanji Cup Team Battle” on Saturday, October 4th at 8:00 PM, in celebration of the release of Sonic Racing CrossWorlds.
This event features virtual streamers from the NiJiSanji agency—Akina Saegusa and Minato Fuwa, serving as team leaders—with their respective teams competing in Sonic Racing CrossWorlds. Eight virtual streamers from NiJiSanji will be divided into two teams, engaging in an intense battle.
