2P Games is exhibiting “Crazy Hyper Dungeon Chronicle,” a PC game scheduled for release on October 24, 2025, at Tokyo Game Show 2025.
This game is a crazy and hyper dungeon RPG developed by Italian studio Fix-a-Bug, known for its high-energy tone. While the quirky vibe might initially be jarring, as you play through it, you’ll gradually find yourself wanting to end every sentence with an exclamation mark!
It’s sometimes hard to tell whether the humor is intentional or influenced by internet memes and translation quirks, but all characters are highly distinctive, making their dialogue enjoyable in itself.
Though the map is procedurally generated, it surprisingly carries strong narrative elements. The diary of “Land Roa,” the only adventurer who ever reached floor 50, is scattered across each level, allowing players to uncover the dungeon’s history and background of its inhabitants. It’s intriguing that beneath the comedic surface lies a deep, layered story.

Additionally, the game features a unique system at startup that lets players choose between “Talkative,” “Exploration,” or “Combat” playstyles. Choosing “Talkative” increases dialogue events, “Exploration” adds more puzzles, and “Combat” brings more enemies. This approach offers a tailored experience based on player preference—more personalized than standard difficulty settings.
The combat system is also unique. Each unit’s gauge fills over time, and units act in order from full to empty. Players can always target one enemy unit at a time, triggering a rhythm game when that unit acts—determining whether the defense succeeds or fails.
When it’s your turn to act, a rhythm game begins to determine if an attack lands successfully. If you don’t correctly aim at a playable unit, both defense and offense will fail, so you must carefully observe gauge movements to time your attacks precisely. While hectic, this creates a highly rhythmic and enjoyable battle experience.
Also, a demo version is available on the Steam store page—those interested are encouraged to try it firsthand. As they say, one look is worth a hundred hears!
