“Mega Man: Star Force Perfect Collection” is a compilation of all seven titles in the “Mega Man: Star Force” series, scheduled for release in 2026. Originally launched in 2006 as a Nintendo DS title to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Mega Man’s debut, it was followed by sequels titled “Mega Man: Star Force 2” and “Mega Man: Star Force 3.”

“Mega Man: Star Force” continues the legacy of the “Mega Man Battle Network” series, set in a world 200 years after the events of that series. One key feature is the expansion beyond the cyberworld depicted in “Mega Man Battle Network,” introducing a new “radio wave world.”

In this series, the protagonist, Hoshikawa Subaru, transforms into Mega Man by merging with a radio-wave lifeform named Warrock. This fusion allows him to explore both the radio wave world and the cyberworld.

Subaru is a shy, introverted boy, but Warrock has a more rough-and-tumble personality—creating a dynamic contrast to the relationship between Ryota and Mega Man in “Mega Man Battle Network.”

The original version utilized the Nintendo DS’s dual-screen functionality. In this “Perfect Collection,” the UI has been optimized for single-screen play, and enhanced with high-resolution graphics and smoothing filters to provide a comfortable experience on modern hardware.

The game also includes online multiplayer battle features previously seen in “Mega Man Battle Network: Advanced Collection.”
