Today (September 28, 2025), SNK has released the fighting game [Real Bout Garou Densetsu 2 ~THE NEWCOMERS~] on Steam. The price is 2,980 yen (tax included).

This title is an upgraded version of the original arcade release from 1998. Keeping the classic graphics and controls intact, players can battle with a total of 23 characters—including new additions “Shang Fei (Li Xiangfei)” and “Rick Stroud”, as well as the hidden character “Alfred.”

Additionally, the game features online battle modes powered by rollback network code and a lobby system supporting up to nine players. It also includes enhanced practice mode, with new functions such as speed adjustment, recording capabilities, and character-specific hitbox display. Other added features include a gallery mode where players can view key art and character illustrations.
