"Beguile," themed around romance and werewolf, launches full-feature demo on Steam: a werewolf confesses, and if successful, the target is eliminated.

Independent developer Koedda has today (September 29, 2025) begun distributing the free demo version of his PC software, [Beguile], on Steam.

This game, themed around “dating × werewolf,” is a competitive party game that supports up to eight players. The official release date for the full version is scheduled for October 30, with a launch sale also planned.

Instead of traditional “killing” mechanics found in classic werewolf games, players take on the role of a werewolf who attempts to confess their feelings to another player. If successful, the target is eliminated from the game. However, if the confession fails, the werewolf themselves becomes so shocked that they are eliminated.

Players must carefully gauge who is targeting whom by raising the other’s affection through actions during daytime, discovering their preferences, and timing their confessions just right.

Notably, the free demo version includes all features present in the full release.

Independent developer Koedda announces the launch of the free demo for his online multiplayer-only party game, Beguile, available now on Steam. The demo is completely free and supports Windows.

This game is a competitive party experience themed around “dating × werewolf,” supporting up to eight players. Instead of traditional elimination via killing, this version replaces it with the act of “confession.” If successful, the target is eliminated; if not, the confessing werewolf suffers so much shock that they are eliminated themselves—a strategic twist centered on the tension and risk of confession.

Players must raise others’ affection during daytime, uncover their preferences, deduce who’s targeting whom, and carefully time their confessions.
