thatgamecompany today (September 26, 2025) announced that the company’s title “Sky: Children of the Light” will host the event “Days of Moonlight”, running from September 29 at 4:00 PM to October 13 at 3:59 PM.
This time, players will follow guides appearing in Hana-Cho-kyou or Home to reach the beautiful night sky of the Crescent Oasis. There, you’ll find numerous riddles left behind by players themselves—once solved, lanterns will glow and celebratory fireworks will burst into the air.
Additionally, using a special writing desk, players can ignite their own self-created riddles as lanterns. You’ll also be able to enjoy a “slightly mysterious” glowing snack at a table in a nearby gazebo.
Collecting fragments from the event area rewards you with five event tickets per day. These tickets can be exchanged for limited-time autumn-themed items making their debut this year, such as the Moonlight Wall Hanging and Moonlight Tail Accessory. Furthermore, previously featured items from past “Days of Moonlight” events will also return.

The “Days of Moonlight” event is a quiet, gentle celebration where players worldwide can enjoy riddles beneath the starry sky alongside other children of the stars.
During this event, follow guides appearing in Hana-Cho-kyou or Home to journey toward the stunning night sky of the Crescent Oasis. There, you’ll discover numerous riddles left by players themselves—solve them correctly and watch lanterns glow while joyful fireworks rise into the air. At a special writing desk, you can even light your own self-created riddle as a hanging lantern. Additionally, traditional glowing snacks are laid out on tables in nearby gazebos for guests to enjoy freely. These treats carry slightly mysterious effects that may offer a fresh perspective on enjoying the “Days of Moonlight.”
Beyond solving riddles, collecting fragments from event areas grants five event tickets daily—fifteen bonus tickets are also hidden throughout the area, so be sure to search thoroughly! ・Moonlight Wall Hanging: 18 special tickets
Exchange 18 tickets for four wall hangings. Additional ones can be acquired by exchanging five candles each (up to four more).
