On November 9, 2025, at AGF2025, Fragaria Memories (hereafter “Furamemo”) unveiled its “Three Major Announcements,” revealing upcoming developments. The news includes the long-awaited first cast live performance, game adaptation, and new story expansions—each expanding the world of the project even further.
Fragaria Memories is a chivalric fantasy project by Sanrio. This cross-media production features 18 knights serving well-known Sanrio characters, portraying the growth of these knights through music and storytelling within an expansive fantasy world built on bonds and conflicts among companions. It has captivated fans via various formats such as music videos (MV), voice dramas, music, and live events.
Ahead of the AGF2025 announcements, 4Gamer conducted interviews with Shiorimoto’s voice actor Shinobu Shimazaki, Badbalm’s voice actor Sukeo Takeuchi, and Fragaria Memories producer *Kazuma Murakami. They shared their reactions to the new MV, thoughts on the first cast live performance, and feelings about the upcoming game adaptation.

Two Years In: Reflecting on the Journey So Far
4Gamer:
Fragaria Memories is celebrating its second anniversary this year, in September 2025. Could you share your reflections on these two years?
Sukeo Takeuchi (Badbalm):
The central voice drama series concluded with “Bouquet Formation Arc,” which wrapped up the stories of each continent and set the stage for new narratives.
While multimedia projects take many forms, Fragaria Memories has consistently delivered rich character-driven storytelling in a deliberate and thoughtful way. This foundation gives us great hope for future expansion and makes these past two years incredibly exciting.
Shinobu Shimazaki (Shiorimoto):
I feel the same as Sukeo—over the last two years, Fragaria Memories has truly established strong roots. Instead of rushing to bloom with countless flowers right away, we carefully nurtured the seedlings and built a solid foundation step by step.
It’s because these roots and trunk are so firmly in place that we can now blossom into something beautiful. I’m deeply grateful to everyone who has loved and supported this content all along.
4Gamer:
Thank you. Were there any particularly memorable moments during these two years?
Sukeo Takeuchi:
Definitely the time when I stood on stage with the Lord (Main Character). Just by stepping onto the stage, the audience erupted in excitement—such a thrilling moment! It made me realize anew just how beloved characters like Badbalm and other Sanrio icons truly are.
For fans who have long supported Sanrio, Fragaria Memories has opened up a new way to enjoy these characters.
Shinobu Shimazaki:
Exactly. I believe our journey over two years has been possible because of the foundation provided by both the Lord and Sanrio itself. Events like Animelo Summer Live 2024 (“Stargazer”) were especially powerful.
Even though most attendees weren’t there specifically for Fragaria Memories, when we introduced ourselves as “knights serving [Lord’s name],” they responded with “Ohhh!”—a sign that the characters had truly been embraced. It felt real, and I’m deeply thankful to the Lord for this reception.
Major Announcement #1: New Chapter Theme Song 3D MV Released!
4Gamer:
Let’s now talk about the three major announcements revealed at AGF2025. First, the theme song “Moment Horizon” from the ongoing new voice drama chapter “Lost Kity” has already been released with a brand-new 3D music video (MV). Mr. Murakami, could you explain this?
Kazuma Murakami (Producer):
This MV breaks from traditional 2D illustrations and instead presents an image that embodies the “fusion point between analog and digital” through 3DCG animation. We wanted a new visual style to match the theme of the “Lost Kity” chapter, making it both music and story-driven.
The idea began after our previous 3DCG live performance last year—inspired by those models, we thought: “What if we create something even more innovative together with an external animation team?” We started planning this project before the song was completed, working closely with them from early on to define direction.
Musically, we aimed for a track that highlights depth and speed of 3D visuals, while also expressing the fusion between analog and digital. It’s techno-influenced but features guitar sounds—this “fusion” quality is central to our sound concept.
Additionally, both the music and video are based on the theory of relativity. The title “Moment Horizon” draws from the scientific term “Event Horizon”—the boundary beyond which not even light can escape. We use this idea metaphorically: memories never vanish as long as you keep remembering them. Even though Kity disappeared from the Fragaria World at the beginning of the chapter, her existence endures through our remembrance.
4Gamer:
Ah, so there’s a lot of depth here. The Fragaria Memories songs and MVs always carry meticulous attention to detail—any other hidden details in this one?
Kazuma Murakami:
Yes! There are many subtle references throughout that reflect the essence of the “Lost Kity” chapter. We encourage fans to look closely and enjoy discovering them.
4Gamer:
Understood. Now, let’s hear your reactions as cast members who’ve seen both the song and MV.
Sukeo Takeuchi:
Watching the MV again reinforced how much potential Sanrio and Fragaria Memories have. With enough time and effort, this could become a high-quality animated production in its own right.
Also personally speaking—leaving out lyrics on-screen actually heightens imagination, which I really appreciate. The vocals shine beautifully here, and the video’s content is so stimulating that you can’t help but imagine what comes next. The direction is also superb.
Shinobu Shimazaki:
Absolutely. During recording, we put extra care into every nuance—just as we discussed earlier, the deeper our world unfolds, the more clearly Shiorimoto’s character emerges. We considered even subtle shifts in tone and delivery to better express both character and setting.
I knew the visuals were being crafted with great attention—but seeing them now, I truly felt all that effort was worth it! (laughs)
This song carries something special—something only possible after two years of buildup. Fans will surely understand this, perhaps interpreting it in different ways, just as Sukeo mentioned. It sparks imagination while carrying a sense of unease and sorrow, yet also warmth and hope—a truly wonderful combination of music and visuals.
4Gamer:
Hearing you both talk about it makes me want to replay the song and watch the MV over and over again!
Kazuma Murakami:
Exactly. We put immense care into the vocals—especially for Shiorimoto, where we recorded multiple takes with great patience. The final result is a truly special piece.
While the theme and visuals are grand in scale, the lyrics remain surprisingly intimate and human.
The disappearance of Kity is a major event in Fragaria Memories’ world—but it’s also deeply personal for Haruritto. We wanted to convey both epic scope and individual emotion simultaneously. I think we succeeded.
Shinobu Shimazaki:
That’s why I’m glad we did the trio version—it worked perfectly!
Sukeo Takeuchi:
I get that.
Shinobu Shimazaki:
Working through each part together—discussing, debating lines like “This should be said this way,” or “Here’s my take”—was really fun. The staff even told us they were enjoying the process too. That meant a lot to me!
Major Announcement #2: First Cast Live Confirmed!
4Gamer:
Next, we’re thrilled to announce that the first cast live performance has been confirmed. Mr. Murakami, could you share more details?

Major Announcement #3: Smartphone Game Development Confirmed!
4Gamer:
Next, we’re excited to announce that a smartphone app game titled Fragaria Memories: Color of Wishes has been confirmed! It’s finally happening—could you share how this decision came about?
Kazuma Murakami:
We’ve received many requests for game adaptation over the years. However, from early on in the project, we didn’t want to start with games as our core focus.
If a game becomes the central pillar, it can sometimes lead to the entire IP closing down once the game ends. We wanted to grow and mature the content first—then introduce a game when appropriate. After two years of development, now feels like the perfect moment for this announcement.
The teaser visuals featuring Haruritto, Shiorimoto, and Badbalm differ greatly from previous artwork—they capture strong magical fantasy vibes that reflect the game’s unique world.
While the release date is still ahead, we’ll share more details as they become available—please look forward to them!
4Gamer:
How did the cast members react when hearing about the game adaptation?
Sukeo Takeuchi:
Actually, I’ve been playing Hello Kitty Island Adventure on Switch lately (laughs). Sanrio characters always feel so immersive because their worlds are so well-developed.
With each country and character in Fragaria Memories having its own distinct personality, I’m really excited to see what kind of game it will be. I hope it’s a game that lets players truly step into this world.
4Gamer:
Just for fun—what’s Hello Kitty Island Adventure like?
Sukeo Takeuchi:
It’s super enjoyable! You play as a resident in the same world as Hello Kitty and friends—you’re sent on errands, like bringing fishing rods from Badbalm, crafting furniture, or taking photos. It feels like truly living alongside them.
I’d love for Fragaria Memories to offer daily interactions with its characters too.
4Gamer:
Thank you. Shinobu, what are your thoughts on the game adaptation?
Shinobu Shimazaki:
There’s a term “game experience”—and being able to actively control things creates memories that stay with you in a different way. A smartphone game would allow fans to access the Fragaria Memories world anytime, anywhere. I’m genuinely excited about it.
Also, as Mr. Murakami said—after two years of development, finally reaching this point is deeply meaningful. The game isn’t meant to be the main focus; rather, it’s one piece among many forms like voice dramas and music. That’s truly Fragaria Memories at its heart.
A game is a major branch—it takes deep roots to support such growth. I believe now was exactly the right time, and we must keep nurturing this world with care and dedication going forward.
4Gamer:
We hope more people will discover Fragaria Memories through these diverse content channels. Lastly, any message for fans and readers?
Sukeo Takeuchi:
By the time this article is published, the AGF2025 stage performance will already be over—but I wish we could have shared all of this with you live, to feel that moment’s energy firsthand.
I’m excited about how many ways people can now experience Fragaria Memories. Going forward, I’ll continue striving to remain a source of comfort and support for everyone. Thank you so much for your continued love and support!
Shinobu Shimazaki:
After two years, the depth of Fragaria Memories has truly grown—something I feel even more strongly now. Just like how we compared it earlier to roots, trunk, and flowers—it’s real, tangible.
Even one song like “Blue Sky Memory” probably feels different today than when it was first released. It warms my heart that characters like Shiorimoto have taken root in fans’ hearts.
And with the “Lost Kity” chapter now underway—its title truly reflects its intense and dramatic direction. Yet, this depth is only possible because of all we’ve built so far. I hope you’ll continue walking forward with us, hearts racing and hopes unshaken.
4Gamer:
Thank you very much today!
