Today (September 27, 2025), Capcom announced at the TGS 2025 stage event “Monster Hunter Wilds SP Stage” that “Zero-Form Omega Planetes Trial” will be implemented as part of the third title update for Monster Hunter Wilds.
The upcoming update, scheduled for release on September 29, 2025, for Monster Hunter Wilds (available on PC / PS5 / Xbox Series X|S), had previously announced collaboration content with Final Fantasy XIV, including a quest to defeat “Omega Planetes,” and gear/items recreating jobs like the “Dark Knight” and “Pictomancer” from FF14. However, “Zero-Form Omega” will now be introduced as an even more challenging, permanently available content.

At today’s special stage at Capcom’s booth during Tokyo Game Show 2025, new information was unveiled including the announcement of the winning entry from the “Original Weapon & Charm Design Contest.”
Today, during a special stage event held at Capcom’s booth at Tokyo Game Show 2025, details about collaboration content between Monster Hunter Wilds and Final Fantasy XIV were revealed. It was announced that an ultra-high difficulty permanent event quest titled “Zero-Form Omega Planetes Trial” will be released on the same day as the update—Monday, September 29.
