Comments from Music Producer Tetsuya Komuro:

Collaborating with Mr. Okamoto is an experience that will remain unforgettable in my musical career, so the moment I heard his name again, I immediately wanted to participate. This project shares a common belief: the number three holds universal significance across all eras—a concept I’ve long held. I also wish for OVAL SISTEM to become the quintessential representation of today’s generation—three talented women—and that “Dancing Warrior” will convey meaningful messages to younger audiences. This song breaks from my usual formula, taking bold creative risks. If it opens up a new path forward, I’d be truly delighted.

Comments from Game Producer Yoshiki Okamoto:

Today’s era sees advancements in AI making game development easier than ever—but creating games that are genuinely fun and widely enjoyed remains incredibly difficult. That’s why I’m committed to supporting young creators moving forward. Contrary to what many might assume, I personally play every game I release. As for “Outrankers,” which launches tomorrow, it will be the game I’ll spend the most time playing myself—so let’s meet in-game!

Regarding future plans, Junichi Miki, Game Director at Baobab Game Studios, announced that new content would roll out on a seasonal basis every seven weeks. Based on beta test feedback, upcoming additions include a new 9-player mode, multiple additional characters, stages, gear, and costumes—all designed to keep players engaged over time. Furthermore, as part of efforts to broaden the game’s reach and deepen community engagement, Delagae’s PR Producer Shigeyoshi Kawamoto announced plans for special programming on popular YouTube streamers’ channels, an art contest, offline events, fan meetups, and more.

“Outrankers” officially launched today, November 6 (Thursday). We will continue listening to your feedback to make the game even more enjoyable. We sincerely invite you to experience it firsthand.

About the Collaboration Track “Dancing Warrior”

This original track, written by Tetsuya Komuro imagining the world of Outrankers, fuses the game’s fast-paced battle scenes with a positive message about facing forward and fighting bravely. Composed, lyricized, and arranged entirely by Komuro, it embodies the spirit of Outrankers. Drawing inspiration from his legendary hit “Love, Sorrow, Strength,” this song uses that iconic motif as its signature theme—a tribute to cross-generational collaboration.
