Sega has released the first major expansion pack for Farming Simulator 25 (PC / Mac / PlayStation 5 / Xbox Series X|S) titled “Highlands Fishing” on November 4, 2025. The price is 3,948 yen (tax included) for PC, Mac, and Xbox versions, and 4,180 yen (tax included) for the PlayStation 5 version.
This expansion introduces a new map, “Kinreig,” inspired by Scotland’s Highland region. In addition to traditional farm management, players can now experience aquaculture. Through aquaculture, players can operate fishing boats to breed, raise, and harvest fish such as salmon and rainbow trout, while also enjoying shore-based fishing. Additionally, new farming activities including onion cultivation and raising Highland cattle have been added.

Sega Corporation announces that its globally acclaimed title, Farming Simulator 25, which has surpassed 3 million copies sold worldwide across PlayStation 5 / Xbox Series X|S / PC (Steam/Epic Games Store/Windows) and Mac platforms, will launch its first major expansion pack, “Highlands Fishing,” on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. A promotional trailer introducing the new content has also been released.
Additionally, starting today, the digital base game’s price has been revised to 3,948 yen (3,980 yen for Mac version). We encourage players to take this opportunity to enjoy a richer and more fulfilling farming lifestyle.
In “Highlands Fishing,” players will explore the new map “Kinreig,” inspired by Scotland’s Highland region. This lush landscape features rolling hills and vast waterways, allowing players to experience a new agricultural form: aquaculture, in addition to traditional farm operations. Players can operate fishing vessels to breed, raise, and harvest species such as salmon and rainbow trout, while also enjoying shore fishing. New machinery supporting aquaculture has been added—over 20 new vehicles and farming equipment from four brands: Monosem, Can-Am, AgriSpread, and GT Bunning, including amphibious models. Additionally, a new crop (onion) and a new animal species (Highland cattle) have been introduced, along with new construction projects such as historic castles.
