Today (November 6, 2025), Capcom announced a special package celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Resident Evil series. Titled “Resident Evil 30th Special Pack,” it will be released on February 27, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. This bundle includes the deluxe edition of the latest title, Resident Evil Requiem, along with Resident Evil 7: Resident Evil Gold Edition Grotesque Ver. and Resident Evil Village Z Version Gold Edition.
The first game in the series was originally released on March 22, 1996, marking its 30th anniversary in March 2026.
The package version is priced at ¥15,389 (tax included), while the digital download version costs ¥13,990 (tax included). Note that the digital edition will be available exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2.

On the same day, Capcom will also release “Resident Evil 30th Special Pack Vol. 2,” a separate bundle including Resident Evil RE:2 Z Version, Resident Evil RE:3 Z Version, and the newly released Resident Evil RE:4 Gold Edition Best Price. This edition will be available exclusively as a physical package for PlayStation 5, priced at ¥7,689 (tax included).
