Mr. Donut, operated by Duskin, will be selling a limited-edition collaboration item with Pokémon titled “Tamageta! Metapod’s Donut Tree” for a short period.
This special item commemorates Mr. Donut’s 55th anniversary and is inspired by the image of Metapod hiding among donut pops.
Donut Pops are a classic Mr. Donut favorite, offering various types of bite-sized donuts. In “Tamageta! Metapod’s Donut Tree,” eight donut pops are stacked on top of each other, coated with white chocolate and made from old-fashioned dough, to recreate the shape of a tree.
The Metapod portion is crafted using yeast dough covered in strawberry chocolate, with eyes and mouth shaped from chocolate. The inclusion of custard cream and whipped cream makes it enjoyable both as-is or when dipped—perfect for creative eating experiences.
The price is 648 yen (tax included) for takeout. Orders can only be placed through pre-booking on the Mr. Donut online ordering system. Reservation orders are available from November 12 to December 24 (or until sold out). Please note that same-day pickup orders are not permitted—reservations must be made online by the day before your desired collection date.

The newly released “Tamageta! Metapod’s Donut Tree” will be available for pre-booking exclusively via Mr. Donut’s online ordering system from Wednesday, November 12 (Wed), and delivery of the product begins on Wednesday, November 26 (Wed). This is a time-limited item.
At Mr. Donut, under the brand slogan “Always there, always new,” we strive to cherish those small everyday joys for our customers while aiming to inspire excitement with every new encounter.
The special 55th-anniversary product, “Tamageta! Metapod’s Donut Tree,” is inspired by the image of Metapod disguising itself among donut pops.
