Alibi Games and IndieArk today (November 7, 2025) launched the new PC game Egging On, developed by Egobounds. The price is 1,700 yen (tax included), with a 15% discount available until November 18.

Egging On is a high-difficulty action game in which players control an egg striving to reach greater heights. This egg inexplicably rolls on its own and can jump—but despite these abilities, it has the same fragility as a regular egg. It will crack if dropped from a great height, so careful movement is essential.

The currently available trailer reveals gameplay elements beyond simple bouncing—such as manipulating objects to trigger puzzles and using boosters from below to hover. With various skins also planned, the game appears to have received significant attention in terms of presentation.

In Japan, when it comes to “high-difficulty action games starring eggs,” the LOST EGG series immediately comes to mind—but in terms of gameplay direction, this title seems closer to jump-based action games like Only Up! (now discontinued).

It’s somewhat surprising that several similar titles exist under this theme, but attempting a fresh take on this unique high-difficulty genre could still prove quite intriguing.
