Closed alpha test for "Gods, Death & Reapers," merging extraction and harkness, starts November 20; latest trailer unveiled

Wolcen Studio has released a new trailer for its upcoming title, Gods, Death & Reapers, scheduled for release on November 6, 2025.

This free-to-play action RPG blends extraction-based gameplay with hack-and-slash elements. Set in a world where gods have mysteriously vanished and chaos reigns, players take on the role of “Death,” the personification of death, tasked with restoring balance to the fractured realm.

The newly released trailer introduces the map “Helheim,” which will be featured in the closed alpha test running from November 20 to 26. Inspired by Norse mythology, Helheim showcases players navigating a desolate landscape littered with wrecked Viking ships and massive creature bones.

During the test, additional features such as character creation, new enemy factions, player emotes, and improvements to existing content will also be introduced.

The top-down perspective offers a Diablo-style experience that should appeal to fans of the genre. Interested players can apply for participation via the game’s Steam store page.
