Bandai Namco Entertainment announced today (November 7, 2025) that a new producible idol, “Amayo Tsubasa” (CV: Yuki Amane), will be introduced in the school idol cultivation simulation game “Gakuen Idol Master” on November 16.
Tsubasa is the Vice President of the student council at Shoshin Academy and ranks as Gakuen No.2’s idol. She possesses a strong sense of pride commensurate with her abilities, often displaying an arrogant demeanor and holding herself and others to high standards. Viewing her childhood friend and student council president, Jokou Seinan (CV: Masaki Haruka), as her rival, she openly declares that one day she will surpass Seinan and become the “No.1 Star.”
The game’s official program, “Shoshin Academy HR – Celebrating the 1.5th Anniversary!!! Special Live Stream Just Before Tsubasa’s Production Launch,” is scheduled to be streamed on November 15 at 8:00 PM. The event will feature voice actress Yuki Amane (Tsubasa), Ayane Matsuda (Yume Hanai), Haruka Masaki (Seinan Jokou), and the game’s producer, Ryo Yamamoto, who will share exclusive updates.
Additionally, a special news-style website has been launched to announce the character’s debut, featuring the first promotional video as well as a collection of previously released videos.
