This game is a medical simulation set in a psychiatric hospital from 1923, inspired by academic papers on the evolution of psychiatry. It portrays an era when the line between genuine treatment and pseudoscience was ambiguous.

The protagonist, a journalist, infiltrates the infamous sanatorium known as “Castle Woods,” after receiving a mysterious message from his childhood friend.
While carefully avoiding detection by their superior—knowing that the doctor they’re working with is actually an imposter—they must carry out patient diagnoses and treatments.

Over 100 cards related to psychiatry appear in the game, and players progress by solving puzzles using these cards.
Players can choose between harsh traditional methods or compassionate approaches; their decisions affect not only the patients’ outcomes but also the protagonist’s fate.
