Today (November 4, 2025), Edia announced that the PC version of “Choaniki COLLECTION” will be released on Steam very soon. The price is 7,480 yen (tax included).
This title is a complete port of the first game in the series, “Choaniki,” and its sequel, “Ai Choaniki.” While faithfully recreating the original atmosphere and feel of the classic releases, it also includes new features such as “Sound Mode,” “Visual Mode,” and “Rewind Function.” The PC (Steam) version supports gameplay with a gamepad and Steam achievements.
Note that the Nintendo Switch version of Choaniki COLLECTION was already released in December 2024. However, due to numerous requests from fans asking for a PC release, preparations have been ongoing accordingly.

Edia Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo; President & CEO: Yoshijō Kajima) announces today the release of the Steam version of “Choaniki COLLECTION,” licensed from Extreme Inc. (Headquarters: Suginami Ward, Tokyo; President & CEO: Shigeru Sato). The official Steam store page has been launched, and wishlist registration is now open as of November 4 (Tuesday).
■ The “Choaniki” Series Arrives on Steam!
The release of “Choaniki COLLECTION” for Nintendo Switch in December 2024 was met with overwhelming positive feedback from customers, becoming a major hit. At the same time, we received numerous requests from fans asking to play it on PC. In response to these heartfelt fan demands, we have been preparing this Steam version and are now pleased to officially announce its release.
■ About “Choaniki COLLECTION”
This title features complete ports of the first installment, “Choaniki”, and second installment, “Ai Choaniki.” While faithfully preserving the original atmosphere and feel of their initial releases, we’ve added new features such as “Sound Mode,” “Visual Mode,” and “Rewind Function”—designed to delight both longtime fans and modern gamers alike. “Choaniki” (December 1992)
The Builder Star Emperor, who had won the Great Galaxy Bodybuilding Contest ten times in a row, is anxious—his home planet’s protein supply is running low. Believing “muscle is the ultimate virtue,” he launches an indiscriminate invasion of neighboring planets to build protein extraction facilities. Sensing danger, Idaten and Benten from Heaven take action for peace and set out to destroy the Builder forces…
“Ai Choaniki” (February 1995)
Two years have passed since Idaten and Benten fought in their last battle. After the death of Emperor Builder, peace returned to the galaxy, and people rejoiced in a time of tranquility… But then, Idaten sensed unrest once again near the Builder Star System and went alone to investigate. His whereabouts were lost after his final transmission from the Builder Planet! Upon hearing this news, Benten dispatched two heroes—Adon and Samson—to search for Idaten and uncover what was amiss in the Builder Star System.
