Success announced today (November 4, 2025) the release of the vertical-scrolling shooter “Psyvariar 3” for PC, Switch 2, PS5, and Nintendo Switch, scheduled for release on March 19, 2026, and has begun pre-orders for the physical versions. The standard edition is priced at ¥6,380 for Switch 2/PS5 and ¥10,780 for the limited edition (both tax included). For Nintendo Switch, the standard version costs ¥5,280 while the limited edition is ¥10,780 (also including tax). The PC (Steam) version will be distributed by Red Art Games.

This latest installment in the “Psyvariar” series is a bullet-hell shooter featuring the signature “BUZZ System,” where player aircraft grow stronger by narrowly avoiding enemy bullets. Players can enjoy intense bullet-dodging battles using seven playable characters, each with unique attack styles and abilities.

In addition to original characters Naomi and G.net, this game also features a crossover appearance from the Cotton series: “Nata de Cotton.” Fans are encouraged to look forward to this dream collaboration spanning across different franchises.

The limited edition includes the game software, a special pin set commemorating the series’ 25th anniversary (featuring logos from all previous titles), and a soundtrack CD—all packed in a limited-run special package.

Success Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa, Tokyo; President & CEO: Takato Yoshinari) is pleased to announce the release of its latest shooting game, “Psyvariar 3,” on Thursday, March 19, 2026.

The title will be released for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Steam. Pre-orders for physical copies have officially begun today.

● The Series Icon: “BUZZ System!”
A hallmark feature of the series, the “BUZZ System” allows your craft to grow stronger (with changes in shots and other abilities) by narrowly dodging enemy bullets. Experience this exhilarating and thrilling bullet-hell shooting action once again in Psyvariar 3.

● Diverse Game Modes
The main mode is “Arcade,” where players conquer up to seven stages, with difficulty levels selectable based on achievements earned. Additional modes include:
