Today (November 4, 2025), Nintendo announced its consolidated financial results for the second quarter of fiscal year 2026 (April 1, 2025 – September 30, 2025).
According to the announcement, sales reached ¥19.9 billion, a +110.1% increase compared to the same period last year; operating profit was ¥145.1 billion (+19.5%); ordinary profit amounted to ¥236 billion (+60.5%); and net profit stood at ¥198.9 billion (+83.1%), marking a successful quarter of revenue and profit growth.
Furthermore, according to the financial report, Nintendo Switch 2 hardware cumulative sales reached “10.36 million units” over approximately four months from June 5 to September 30.

Regarding software sales for the Switch 2, titles such as “Mario Kart World” sold 9.57 million copies, and “Donkey Kong Bananza” reached 3.49 million units, contributing to a total of 20.62 million units sold.

Additionally, Nintendo has revised its full-year consolidated performance forecast upward. The hardware sales projection for the Switch 2 was increased by 4 million units to a total of 19 million units, while software sales were raised by 3 million units to 48 million units.
