DRIMAGE and DRIMAGE JAPAN today (November 4, 2025) released a hot spring update for the smartphone app “OZ Re:write” (iOS / Android), introducing a new character, “Otome” (CV: Natsumi Otake).

Otome is a character born from the fan survey campaign titled “Co-Creation Promotion”, launched on the game’s official X account. Her appeal lies in her adorable appearance combined with multiple kawaii traits such as being naturally innocent, sharp-tongued, angelic, wearing “kawaii sleeves,” and laid-back.

Additionally, players can enjoy various events within the game: an event titled “Zokuzoku! Welcome to Ryūgū Hot Spring!”, a mini-game called “See Through It! The Monsters Lured by Hundred Tales,” where you spot ghosts disguised as characters, and another mission-based event named “Mission! Grand Cleanup at the Hot Spring.”

The Witch Council, on vacation, visits Otome’s Ryūgū Hot Spring. But their holiday is ruined by ghostly disturbances from the aging hot spring. To reclaim their perfect getaway, they begin rebuilding the eerie hot spring from scratch.

This game involves spotting ghosts disguised as characters. Players must carefully examine visitors to the hot spring, identifying suspicious behavior in a werewolf-style mini-game that’s both fun and engaging.

Completing assigned missions rewards players with various items. Additionally, collected “hot spring cleaning tools” can be used in a special shop to purchase exclusive items.

To commemorate this update, a limited-time campaign will allow players up to 100 summon attempts, including rewards such as one-time summon tickets and Tail Stones, plus event prizes.

This contest invites everyone to participate in a “co-creation” theme, encouraging fans to creatively reimagine OZ Re:write characters through their own unique interpretations. The goal is to expand the game’s world together.

Prizes include a grand prize of 200,000 JPY, as well as special awards such as the Oz Award, Rewrite Award, and participation prizes. Among participation rewards, 20 lucky winners will receive Amazon gift cards worth 10,000 JPY each via lottery.
