Cygames today (November 4, 2025) announced the details of its latest collaboration event with “Evangelion” for the social game Granblue Fantasy, titled “Evangelion: The Azure Bond, A Vision of the Sky,” set to launch on November 5 at 17:00.
In this event, the Sky Squadron team along with Shiro and Robomi receive a mission from an organization known as “Special Operations Division NERV” to visit Hitakami-no Island. At NERV’s headquarters, they will meet Shinji Ikari, Rei Ayanami, Asuka Langley Soryu, and Mari Makinami Illustrious. They are then tasked with investigating mysterious creatures called “Nepsis,” as well as the remains of a long-lost star-faring civilization—both residing on the island.
Additionally, players will have the chance to recruit “Shinji & Unit-01” upon clearing intermissions in the event, and “Rei & Unit-00” after completing Episode 4 of Chapter 4.

Furthermore, players can obtain event-exclusive summon stones such as “Mari & Unit-08” and limited weapons like “Lance of Longinus – General Use”, using treasures acquired from extra quests.
A special collaboration gacha will also be available. By completing mission objectives in the “NERV Special Forces Entrance Exam,” players can unlock up to five free draws on the collaboration-exclusive 10-pull gacha during the event period.

Collect treasures dropped during event quests to exchange them for premium rewards such as “Legend 10-Pull Gacha Ticket” and “Damascus Crystalline Shard.”
The “Legend 10-Pull Gacha Ticket” allows one use of the Legend 10-pull, Classic 10-pull, or collaboration-exclusive 10-pull gachas.
The “Damascus Crystalline Shard” can be exchanged for rare “Damascus Steel”—a valuable material that enables final level-up—once ten are collected.
