Waku Waku Games today (November 4, 2025) announced that their new title, [Ghostwriter Worldword], developed by Secret Society Matenrou Project and Studio Dragonet, will be released on November 27. The price is 1,500 yen (tax included).
This game puts you in the role of a staff member at “Worldword,” a letter-writing service with the motto: “We deliver your feelings through love letters, promises, apologies, contracts—you name it.” You’ll take on chaotic letter-writing challenges using a roulette to determine key parts of each message.

The main game consists of five chapters, and additional features include an “Endless Mode” where you respond to various customer requests, a “World Wave” section showcasing character profiles, short stories serving as prequels, and a gallery mode.
A demo version is currently available on Steam. Additionally, at the indie game exhibition “Tokyo Game Dungeon 10,” held in Hamamatsucho, Tokyo on November 9, players will be able to try an early preview of Chapter 3. Attendees who play the demo will receive a special postcard set as a gift.

Ghostwriter Worldword originated as a popular chaotic letter-writing adventure game previously released on Novel Game Collection.
As an employee at “Worldword,” a letter-writing service whose motto is: “We deliver your feelings through love letters, promises, apologies, contracts—you name it!” you’ll take on writing challenges. Customers who visit are all quirky and eccentric. And being as moody as you are, the crucial part of each letter will be determined by a roulette spin. Don’t worry—no matter how badly things go or how outrageous your messages become, you’ll never get fired.
Ghostwriter Worldword is structured in five chapters. Fans who enjoyed the original on Novel Game Collection and want to see what happens next will definitely enjoy this sequel-like experience. Beyond completing the main story, players can continue playing through “Endless Mode,” explore character profiles via “World Wave,” read short prequel stories, or browse a gallery mode.
At Tokyo Game Dungeon 10 on November 9 in Hamamatsucho, attendees will be able to preview Chapter 3—earlier than the demo currently available. You’ll never get fired, and your salary keeps rising.
