GAMING FACTORY, 4Divinity, and Beep Japan today (October 30, 2025) announced a collaboration with automobile manufacturer Hyundai Motor for the PC racing game “JDM: Japanese Drift Master”.
Today’s free update introduces Hyundai’s cutting-edge concept EV, the “INSTEROID”, along with a new side mission campaign.
The INSTEROID embodies Hyundai Motor’s forward-looking vision, featuring optimized drift performance and a futuristic, striking design. Its unique electric motor acceleration characteristics are set to deliver an entirely new driving experience on mountain roads and race tracks.

Additionally, the new side mission campaign challenges players to race the INSTEROID against Hyundai’s INSTER and IONIQ 5 models. Completing all four races—two mountain road races, a time attack, and a drag race—will unlock the INSTEROID for your garage.

October 30, 2025 (Thursday), Tokyo – Developer GAMING FACTORY and publishers 4Divinity and Beep Japan have announced a collaboration with Hyundai Motor for the racing game “JDM: Japanese Drift Master.” This partnership brings Hyundai Motor’s cutting-edge concept EV, the INSTEROID, to JDM. A revolutionary electric vehicle that fuses digital culture with motorsports.
Additionally, from October 30 (Thursday) through November 9 (Sunday), at the Japan Mobility Show in Tokyo, players can experience driving the INSTEROID firsthand at Hyundai Motor’s dedicated game corner within their exhibition booth.

About the JDM and Hyundai Collaboration
The INSTEROID embodies Hyundai Motor’s forward-looking vision, featuring optimized drift performance and a futuristic, striking design. With its strong alignment with the JDM’s core culture centered around drifting, it joins the game as a symbol of “a new era of drifting.” The unique acceleration characteristics of electric motors will create fresh driving experiences on mountain roads and race tracks.
Alongside the introduction of this new vehicle, a brand-new side mission campaign featuring four races has been implemented. Players will challenge Hyundai’s INSTER and IONIQ 5 models using the INSTEROID. Completing all four events—two mountain road races, a time attack, and a drag race—will unlock the INSTEROID for your garage. The side missions become available after completing Chapter 01 Mission 06 of the main story and can be accessed from specific points across the open world.
The INSTEROID and its accompanying side mission campaign are now available as a free update to JDM starting October 30 (Thursday).
