KLab today (October 30, 2025) announced that a new mobile online game based on the TV anime series My Hero Academia will be released within 2026.

The TV anime My Hero Academia is an animated series adapted from the popular manga by Kohei Horikoshi, which was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2014 to 2024 and has achieved cumulative sales exceeding 100 million copies worldwide. Since its first season premiered in 2016, it has gained widespread popularity, and as of October 2025, the final arc titled My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON, the eighth season, is currently airing.

Details about the game have not yet been disclosed, but development is progressing smoothly toward release. Stay tuned for further updates on what this new game will be like.

KLab Corporation (Headquarters: Minato, Tokyo; President & CEO: Tetsuya Sanada) is pleased to announce that its new mobile online game based on the My Hero Academia series, developed with permission from the My Hero Academia Production Committee, will be released within 2026. Development is currently progressing smoothly.

The game is scheduled for global release, excluding mainland China.

About the TV Anime “My Hero Academia”

This anime series is based on the immensely popular manga by Kohei Horikoshi, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) from 2014 to 2024. The original manga has surpassed 100 million copies in cumulative worldwide sales.

Since its premiere with Season 1 in 2016, the series has maintained strong popularity and is currently broadcasting its eighth season—the final arc titled My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON—on Yomiuri TV and Nippon Television Network across 29 stations nationwide as of October 2025. The franchise has also seen four theatrical films released so far, enjoying widespread acclaim both domestically and internationally.

Additionally, the official spin-off series Vigilante: My Hero Academia ILLEGALS has been adapted into a TV anime, with Season 2 scheduled to premiere in January 2026, indicating that the franchise’s expansion will continue in the future.
