Introducing Original Class “Eryl Light”!
Second Collaboration Event with Popular Taiwanese Character “BUGCAT CAPOO”!
Nexon Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Jin-ho Lee / I Jeong-hon; TSE: 3659, hereinafter “Nexon”), a company specializing in the development and operation of online games, has launched an update to its mobile side-scrolling action RPG MapleStory M for iOS/Android on Thursday, October 30, 2025—marking the game’s 6.5th anniversary—and also introduced the second collaboration event with popular Taiwanese character BUGCAT CAPOO.
In celebration of the 6.5th anniversary, this update introduces “Eryl Light,” a new original class exclusive to MapleStory M. To support players in developing Eryl and other characters, various events have been launched alongside this release. Additionally, we are hosting the second collaboration event with BUGCAT CAPOO, inviting players to enjoy festive Halloween-themed activities together with CAPOO and their friends within the world of MapleStory M!

New Class “Eryl Light” Released
We have introduced a new class: “Eryl Light” (hereafter Eryl). As the 5th Squad Captain of the Silver Knights, Eryl is a knight blessed with special light chosen by the Creator of Stars. Equipped with a holy spear imbued with sacred power, he unleashes powerful attacks on enemies around him and can summon “Guardians of Light” and “Grand Guardians of Light” to overwhelm foes in one decisive strike.
Eryl Light Anniversary Growth Event
To commemorate the release of Eryl, we are hosting a series of events to support character growth. Use the explosive level-up event “Tera Burning” and the “Item Burning” event—where you can obtain powerful gear—to rapidly strengthen Eryl through mission-based rewards tied to leveling up and monster slaying!
＜Event Period＞October 30, 2025 (Thu) – December 4, 2025 (Thu), 9:59

■Eryl Tera Burning Event
Set Eryl’s level between 3 and 210 to activate Tera Burning. For every level-up, you gain an additional +2 levels! This allows for instant leveling up all the way to level 210.
■Eryl Item Burning Event
We are running “Item Burning,” a special event that lets both character level and weapon strength increase rapidly. Complete Eryl-exclusive missions to obtain powerful gear. By simply registering for this event, you can immediately receive a Legendary weapon; completing all exclusive missions will allow you to evolve your equipment into [Lv140 Legendary Weapon / Star Force ★25 / Unique Potential Ability / Soul Gem Equippable].
■Eryl Light Growth Share Pass+
We are hosting a growth-sharing event where you earn reward items based on Eryl’s level-up, and can also share experience points with other characters. Place Eryl on the left screen and the character you wish to share XP with on the right. When Eryl levels up, you receive rewards according to your target level and a set amount of experience is shared with the character on the right.
■Eryl Level Achievement Event
Use the ongoing Tera Burning event and other features to rapidly grow Eryl up to level 210. Receive luxurious rewards upon reaching specific levels.

Second “BUGCAT CAPOO” Collaboration Event
We have launched the second collaboration event with BUGCAT CAPOO, a beloved character originating from Taiwan. In the Halloween-themed world of MapleStory M, join mysterious creature CAPOO and their adorable friends in celebrating this special event!

＜Main Events Held＞
■BUGCAT CAPOO and the Halloween Festival!
Celebrate Halloween with BUGCAT CAPOO’s friends. Participate in collaboration events and mini-games during this period to earn special event coins called “Muscle Angel Capoo Coins.” Collect these coins and exchange them at the dedicated shop, “Capoo Coin Shop,” for exclusive collaboration items and more.
■Capoo Coin Collection Event
Defeat monsters in designated fields and dungeons during the event period to obtain event coins with a certain probability. You can earn up to 300 coins per day.
■Capoo, Run Away!
Help CAPPO and friends escape from underground. Avoid attacks from dark sorcerers and obstacles on the map to reach the goal. Successfully escaping grants you 600 event coins.
■Dogdog’s Festival Gift Creation
Complete specified missions such as monster slaying, dungeon clearance, and visiting event pages to collect event items. Once a certain number of items are collected, you can challenge mini-games and earn event coins based on your results.

■Magatia Underground Exploration: Find the Key!
Use your control keys and attack button to locate a key in dark areas filled with monsters. Depending on how many keys you find, you can earn up to 600 event coins per day.

■Capoo and Trick-or-Treat Together!
Challenge a puzzle game where you must match three or more blocks with the same design to clear them. Complete missions from Capoo within the time limit to earn event coins based on how many missions are cleared.
