Square Enix today (October 30, 2025) announced that the live-streamed video of HD-2D version Dragon Quest I & II—available on PC / Nintendo Switch 2 / PS5 / Xbox Series X|S / Nintendo Switch—produced by their video content series Kino no Kritika no Hito, will premiere on YouTube at 21:00 on October 31.
This time, the focus is on Dragon Quest II, included in Dragon Quest I & II. Starting from the beginning of the game, the hero Kano Eikou embarks on a new adventure with the goal of recruiting all characters depicted in the key visual.
The cast features comedian Hideaki Kino, Kentaro Sakai from Alco & Peace, and screenwriter Shōkō Gibu.

This time, we focus on Dragon Quest II, part of the newly released HD-2D version Dragon Quest I & II (released October 30). Starting from the beginning, players follow Kano Eikou as he sets off on a new journey to recruit all characters illustrated in the key visual.
