"Path of Exile" Launches Latest Expansion Content "Keepers of the Flame." Introducing the new system "Tree of Creation," which grants players new abilities.

Grinding Gear Games today (October 31, 2025) has released the latest expansion content for its action RPG “Path of Exile”, titled “Keepers of the Flame.”

In this expansion, players will encounter a secret order established to contain the entities emerging from the abyss—known as “Bleachroad.” Joining forces with the order’s founder, “Ailith”, players will face formidable new foes including the boss Vruun, Marshal of Xesht.

Additionally, this update introduces numerous new features such as “Bloodline Ascendancy,” which allows players to absorb abilities from defeated bosses to gain new powers; the “Genesis Tree” system, enabling players to grant themselves new skills and defensive traits; an asynchronous trading system; and a variety of new skill gems and support gems.

Grinding Gear Games has announced today that its latest expansion content, “Keepers of the Flame,” is now live. On this Halloween night, a new expansion awakens the cursed legacy of Bleach in an even more ominous and terrifying form as darkness once again ignites.

This update features Bloodline Ascendancy Classes, Asynchronous Trade, a brand-new Uber Pinnacle Boss, along with numerous gameplay improvements, introducing a dark new league and 40 fresh challenges.

Main Features of the “Keepers of the Flame” Update

◆ The Rekindling of Bleach:
In “Keepers of the Flame,” players meet Ailith (Eilis), founder of a secret order formed to contain the entities emerging from the abyss—known as “Bleachroad.” She leads players into the reassembled chaos of Bleach, accompanied by new mechanics, unstable rifts, and terrifying bosses such as Vruun, Marshal of Xesht.

◆ Claim the Power of Monsters via the Genesis Tree:
Within the Keepers’ monastery lies a fearsome creation device known as the Genesis Tree, which produces new resources and “Grafts.” Grafts are living enhancement parts that merge with the body to grant powerful new abilities. Using Foulborn Currency, this power can evolve into even more blasphemous and potent forms.

◆ Discover New Power:
New skill gems and support gems have been introduced, including the wand attack skill Kinetic Rain, and the support gem Living Lightning Support. Additionally, through Bloodline Ascendancy Classes, players can absorb the powers of bosses they defeat to build devastatingly diverse builds with countless combinations.

◆ Confront Zana’s Torment:
This expansion adds three new Uber Incarnations born from Zana’s despair. For those seeking a challenge, high-difficulty battles await—and victory rewards powerful loot.

◆ Asynchronous Trade Finally Arrives:
Players can now instantly trade items even when offline. After Act 6, Faustus will manage trade requests and currency exchanges.

◆ Challenge, Collect, Conquer:
In the new Keepers Challenge League, 40 challenges are available with exclusive rewards. Completing them unlocks the “Keeper of the Flame Armor Set.” Additionally, two new support packs—“Champion of Theopolis” and “Verdant Magus”—are introduced, each containing unique cosmetic effects and bonus content.
