Today (October 31, 2025), Sega has launched an official website for the short anime series “SONIC & FRIENDS,” featuring Sonic and his friends, providing updates on characters, merchandise, and more.

Sega Fave Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Yukio Sugano), part of the Sega Group, will release its highly anticipated collaboration collection “SONIC & FRIENDS x Sanrio Characters,” which has captivated fans worldwide with its “jaw-dropping cuteness” since its debut at Tokyo Toy Show 2025. The products go on sale on Friday, November 7, 2025.
On the following day, Saturday, November 8, a launch celebration event will be held at Hakuhinkan Ginza Main Store. The event includes photo sessions with Sonic and limited-edition giveaways exclusively for attendees.
Adorable items debuted at Tokyo Toy Show 2025 are now officially on sale!
The “SONIC & FRIENDS x Sanrio Characters” collaboration was first announced on April 25, 2024, featuring Sonic and Hello Kitty. Simultaneously, additional pairings were revealed: Tails × Cinnamoroll, Amy × My Melody, Knuckles × Komivi, and Dr. Eggman × Pompompurin—each instantly becoming viral sensations on social media after the illustrations debuted. At Sega Fave’s booth during Tokyo Toy Show 2025 held on August 28 (Thursday), these collaborations were presented in stunning three-dimensional displays that fans couldn’t resist hugging. The plushie M and mascot items are set for nationwide release next week.
The lineup includes two sizes: a compact, ball-chain-equipped mascot perfect for carrying around, and the larger, eye-catching M-sized plushie—ideal for collecting your favorite character pairings together.
