KRAFTON announced at NVIDIA’s “GeForce Gamer Festival” event, held in Seoul, South Korea on October 30, 2025, that player testing for the AI teammate feature in “PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS,” titled “PUBG Ally,” will take place early in 2026.
The languages supported during this test are planned to include English, Korean, and Chinese.

PUBG Ally is a “Co-Playable Character” (CPC) developed jointly by KRAFTON and NVIDIA, utilizing the upcoming NVIDIA ACE technology. The AI workflow runs efficiently on each player’s GeForce RTX GPU.

Designed for two-player gameplay, it understands both voice and text inputs, responding to human players’ commands as well as casual comments or expressions of surprise. It comprehends gamer-specific terminology, map features, item properties, and situational context, enabling coordination similar to that of a real human teammate.

Initial testing will collect feedback from real players to inform development ahead of the full official release later this year.
