Pokémon and Niantic today (October 31, 2025) announced that the special event titled “Pokémon GO Mega Takkun!” for the smartphone location-based game Pokémon GO (officially known as Pokémon GO [iOS] / [Android]) will take place at AEON MALL Makuhari Shin-Toshi from November 8 to November 24.
This is a real-life experience event set at AEON MALL Makuhari Shin-Toshi. At the venue, visitors can enjoy various activities such as “GO Stamp Rally,” where participants collect stamps by visiting specific “PokéStops”; “Monster Ball Throw,” training to catch Pokémon; and “Energetic Raid Time” (※), a special battle experience with Pokémon.
※ GO Stamp Rally and Raid Gyms will be available starting November 1, while Monster Ball Throw begins on November 8.
Additionally, a similar real-life experience event will take place at AEON MALL Okinawa Rikamu from November 15 to 16.

Pokémon Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato Ward, Tokyo; President & CEO: Tsuneharu Ishihara) in collaboration with Niantic, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “Niantic”) today announced that a real-life experience event titled “Pokémon GO Mega Takkun!” will be held at AEON MALL Makuhari Shin-Toshi and AEON MALL Okinawa Rikamu.
This event transforms the entire mall into an immersive world where fans can participate in fun activities such as “GO Stamp Rally” to find Pokémon, “Monster Ball Throw” for catching Pokémon, and “Energetic Raid Time,” a thrilling battle experience with powerful boss Pokémon. Starting on Saturday, November 1, various Pokémon-themed decorations will be displayed throughout the mall — including some Mega Evolved Pokémon! Come discover this special time when the entire AEON MALL turns into a magical space filled with Pokémon.

Pick up a field map indicating the locations of each Takkun activity and the PokéStops used for the GO Stamp Rally to prepare for the event. Additionally, you can receive free sun hats featuring Pikachu, Chikoriki, Poca-bu, or Wani-noko.

Pokémon “Find” Takkun: GO Stamp Rally
The GO Stamp Rally is an activity in Pokémon GO where players visit specific PokéStops and collect stamps on-site. The locations of these special PokéStops are marked by Pokémon-themed signs placed throughout the mall — a total of four such spots have been set up. Use the map distributed at the venue to explore AEON MALL, locate all four PokéStops, and sharpen your Pokémon-finding skills. Collecting all stamps rewards players with in-game items or rare Pokémon encounters; visitors will also receive stickers upon completing the rally.

Pokémon “Catch” Takkun: Monster Ball Throw
A fun challenge where players throw a monster ball at targets resembling Pokémon. The farther the target, the harder it is to hit — testing your catching accuracy! Players who successfully hit multiple targets will receive stickers.
■ Event Period: 7 days on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from November 8 (Sat) to November 24 (Mon): daily 10:00–17:00

Pokémon “Battle” Takkun: Energetic Raid Time
A Pokémon GO app-linked “Raid Battle” where players team up with other trainers to battle powerful “Boss Pokémon.” When the announcement for Energetic Raid Time is heard, gather at the open plaza on the first floor of Grand Mall and take on a strong Boss Pokémon. During weekends and holidays throughout the event period, an MC will join in to boost excitement and energize the entire venue.
