Steam “Live Hard, Die Hard / Live Hard, Die Hard”
This game is a real-time strategy (RTS) centered on the theme of battle × medicine. Players take command of a special unit facing humanity’s extinction crisis, using both strategic planning and medical care to wage intense battles against aliens.

The player’s mission is to build a “victorious unit” within the four weeks leading up to the final battle. Each week consists of two phases: “base management phase” and “expedition combat phase.” Players use resources and research outcomes gathered from expeditions to train, upgrade, and strengthen their troops.

On the battlefield, soldiers automatically advance as real-time combat unfolds. Players must assess battle conditions and issue commands such as retreat or re-attack, activate skills, or call in artillery support to guide their unit toward victory. The intense battles rely entirely on your tactical decisions.

Injured soldiers can be treated by retreating them to a medical truck. However, during treatment, frontline strength diminishes and the burden on remaining troops increases—requiring players to decide whether to prioritize healing or maintain front-line presence. Harsh combat also inflicts psychological damage; thus, mental care for soldiers is essential.

Additionally, dissecting fallen aliens grants random special effects called “side effects.” By combining these effects, the unit evolves in real time during combat.
