Toho has announced today (October 31, 2025) that its game division, “TOHO Games,” will broadcast the first official live stream event for its upcoming title “Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin – The Legend of Hinuka” on November 7 at 8:00 PM via YouTube and other platforms.
The broadcast will feature voice actors Naomi Oozora (as Sakuna-hime), Machico (as Hinuka-hime), and Rika Igawa (as Kokorowa-hime). Numerous new details—including game systems, newly introduced characters, cast information, and upcoming campaign updates—are expected to be revealed.
To commemorate the live stream broadcast, a special X campaign will also be held. By following the official X account and reposting the campaign post, participants can enter a lottery to win one of 10 exclusive teaser visual design postcards. The campaign runs from November 7 at 19:59.

“Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin,” a unique Japanese-style action RPG that blends exhilarating combo combat with an in-depth simulation of traditional Japanese rice farming, is built around the slogan “Rice is power.” In July 2024, the TV anime adaptation titled “Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin” aired on Tokyo MX and other networks, generating widespread attention for its meticulously crafted, realistic depictions of rice cultivation. Furthermore, a sequel to the television series has been officially announced, with continued strong performance across various streaming platforms.
