Square Enix has announced that the piano concert based on its “NieR” series, titled “NieR: Piano Concert - Journeys 12026 -,” will hold its Japanese performances, and ticket pre-sale via lottery has officially begun through Square Enix e-STORE.
The “NieR: Piano Concert - Journeys 12026 -” began with its Paris performance on April 19, and has since been held in various locations worldwide. Composed under the supervision of Koichi Okabe, renowned composer, and performed by pianist Benyamin Nuss, this solo piano concert features carefully selected tracks from the titles NieR:Automata, NieR Re[in]carnation, and NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139….
The venue and dates are as follows. The pre-sale lottery will run until November 9, 23:59, but since it is a lottery-based system rather than first-come-first-served, please carefully consider which location you wish to attend before applying.

■ Long-Awaited Japanese Tour Confirmed!
The Japanese performance of the “NieR” series piano concert, titled NieR: Piano Concert - Journeys 12026 -, which launched with its Paris debut on April 19, 2025, is now confirmed for Japan. This solo piano concert features carefully selected pieces from NieR:Automata, NieR Re[in]carnation, and NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139…, supervised by composer Koichi Okabe and performed by pianist Benyamin Nuss. Experience a rich, emotionally powerful musical journey that fully showcases the expressive power of piano.
● Pianist: Benyamin Nuss
Benyamin Nuss, a pianist born in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany, began playing piano at age six and developed his talent under the guidance of Victor Lange. Influenced by his father, Ludwig Nuss—a renowned jazz trombonist—he grew up immersed in diverse musical genres. At age ten, he was deeply moved by Debussy’s “Gradus ad Parnassum” from Children’s Corner, which sparked a deep exploration into works by Debussy and Ravel.
While studying classical piano under Ilya Sheps, Nuss also continued performing with jazz bands and composing independently. His versatility has led to performances as a soloist with orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra and Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra worldwide. He has released several albums through Deutsche Grammophon, including two solo recordings. As a composer, he debuted his first original album in 2017 and has since composed music for festivals and soloists. In 2024, he completed a concerto for harmonica, piano, and chamber orchestra, which was successfully premiered at the Leipzig Gewandhaus and Bielefelder Ettal-Halle.
Since 2009, Nuss has expanded into video game music, performing in renowned concerts such as “Symphonic Fantasies: Music from SQUARE ENIX,” “Final Symphony: Music from FINAL FANTASY,” “Distant Worlds: Music from FINAL FANTASY,” and “KINGDOM HEARTS Orchestra - World Tour.” He has also shared the stage with celebrated composers like Nobuo Uematsu, Masashi Hamauzu, and Yoko Shimomura.
