Hello everyone, readers of 4Gamer. I’m René, a hobby trainer for Uma Musume.
It’s already November, and the temperature has dropped significantly lately… Wait—is it getting too cold all of a sudden?!?!?!
I’ve been hit hard by the drastic temperature swings and ended up falling ill. Since a new training scenario titled “Spa Town” was just released, I’m now really in the mood to take a trip somewhere with hot springs for a good rest. Please fellow trainers—take care of your health and stay well.
So here’s Issue #17 of this monthly column, where we cover standout news from within and outside Uma Musume Pretty Derby (iOS / Android / PC)—whether you’re an active trainer or haven’t touched the game recently, I hope you enjoy it.
New Training Scenario “Gokuraku♪ Yukoma Spa Town” Released on October 29! This Time, Grow Stronger While Digging Hot Springs and Soaking In Them…!?

The biggest recent news has to be the release of the new training scenario: “Gokuraku♪ Yukoma Spa Town.”
In this scenario, you’re invited by former trainer and innkeeper “Hosako Kenko” and her former charge, “Yunohana Bloom,” to help revive a spa town. You’ll dig for natural hot spring sources while restoring the old guesthouse.
In this scenario, the “Hot Spring Power” command has been added during training sessions. Using bath tickets lets you soak in hot springs and receive various benefits. You’ll frequently see Uma Musume taking baths—so much so that playing through it might just make you want to go on a real hot spring trip. Seriously.

Cygames’ training game “Uma Musume Pretty Derby” has released its new training scenario, “Gokuraku♪ Yukoma Spa Town” (hereafter referred to as the “Spa Town Arc”), on October 29 at 12:00. I attended a media preview event hosted by Cygames and am now sharing my preview report.

Two new support characters have also been introduced: SSR Toukai Teio (Speed) and SSR Hosako Kenko (Friend). Teio, with his exceptional stats and scenario-linked abilities, is a must-have. Similarly, Hosako plays her usual role as a powerful friend character in the scenario—making her essential for this arc.
Since both are currently featured in the current gacha pull, I recommend trying to obtain them if possible. Plus, support gacha features an ongoing 80 free pulls event right now!
Additionally, a new Uma Musume character named Transcend, wearing her new Spa Town outfit, has been introduced. She’s a dirt-track sprinter with extremely strong stats.
Those aiming for top positions in the upcoming November League of Heroes (Shinogawa Dirt 1600m) would probably want to consider adding her to their team.
The New Training Scenario’s CM Features Fun Footage by Tadanori Fujii & Frankie Dettori, and the New Song “Yukoma Romance Pure-Hearted Style” Is a Must-Hear!?
Now, one of the most anticipated things with each new training scenario is always the new promotional video featuring Tadanori Fujii and Frankie Dettori. This time, special guest Tomokazu Miura joins in—adding a suspenseful twist to the production.
Even though it’s still that familiar feeling: “Can we really make legends of horse racing do something like this?” —but from their expressions, both seem genuinely enjoying themselves, so I suppose it’s fine. This 15-second clip is short but packed with charm—definitely worth watching.
Also, personally, I highly recommend checking out the new scenario’s theme song: “Yukoma Romance Pure-Hearted Style.”
This enka-style track features an unusual karaoke-like visual style rarely seen before. The lyrics and rhythm are surprisingly catchy—there’s a certain addictive quality that makes you want to listen over and over again, and the animation is outstanding.
The arrangement was done by Hirohiko Honda, who also worked on “Umapio Legend,” so this high quality isn’t surprising at all. This song should be heard even by those unfamiliar with Uma Musume—it’s a true masterpiece. That sharp accent from Akute’s voice? Pure magic.
The 6th EVENT Introduced New Uma Musume “Red Desia”—Is “Buenavista” Next to Become a Training Character?
A bit older news—but on October 18 and 19, during the autumn performance of “6th EVENT The New Frontier,” a new Uma Musume character was announced: Red Desia.
In real life, she’s known as a fierce rival to Buenavista, even competing against her in major races—and is also a foal from Manhattan Cafe.
Hence, you can see hints of café colors in her eyes, and it’s common to spot her talking with other characters while drinking coffee that her admired senior once made for her.
Buenavista is already available as a support card, but hasn’t yet been introduced as a training character. However, now that her rival Red Desia has been unveiled—this could mean the official debut of Buenavista as a playable trainer character isn’t far off.
Especially since the upcoming December Champions Meeting takes place at Hanshin 1600m—the same track where Buenavista won both the Hanshin Juvenile Fillies and Sakura Sho. Given this timing, it seems highly likely she’ll be introduced soon—so keep an eye out for more news!
The Anime “Uma Musume Cinderella Gray” Launches a “Gokuraku Spa” Collaboration on November 13—with More Collabs Like “The Royal Family” and “Autobacs”
Currently airing in its second season, “Uma Musume Cinderella Gray” has just announced new collaboration details.
First on the list: a special “Gokuraku Spa” collaboration starting November 13. It’ll run until December 9 and includes exclusive collaboration hand towels, merchandise sales, store decorations, and limited-time menu items.

Anime “Uma Musume Cinderella Gray” × “Gokuraku Spa” Collaboration Official Site
New collaboration artwork with the ongoing Sunday drama “The Royal Family” has also been unveiled. At Brunch Park, panels are currently on display and related merchandise is available for purchase.
Starting November 17, a collaboration with “Autobacs” will begin. Various campaigns—including merchandise sales—will be held.

Anime “Uma Musume Cinderella Gray” × “Autobacs” Collaboration Official Site
On January 30, 2026, the “Uma Musume Cinderella Gray EXHIBITION – The Monster’s Hoofprints Exhibition –” will be held. Details are still unclear, but it’s confirmed to be an exhibition about “Cinderella Gray,” retracing the legendary “monster hoofprints” made by Oguri Cap during his many intense battles.
The official site and official X (formerly Twitter) have both been launched—please follow them for updates. As a dedicated fan of this series, I definitely plan to visit during the exhibition period!
