Raw Fury has launched the adventure game The Séance of Blake Manor, developed by Irish studio Spooky Doorway, on Steam. The price is 2,300 yen (tax included). To celebrate its release, the game will be available at a 10% discount—reduced to 2,070 yen (tax included)—until November 11, 2025.

The Séance of Blake Manor is a detective adventure game inspired by Irish mythology and the spiritualist movement of the Victorian era. The story follows private investigator Declan Ward, who is hired to investigate the disappearance of Evelyn Dean—the heiress from Blake Manor—after she vanishes on October 29, just before Halloween in 1897.

The manor hosts a party-like event—actually a séance—with few cooperative staff or guests. Ward must explore the mansion, gather clues, and conduct interviews to uncover the truth. Within 48 hours before the Halloween séance begins, he must find Evelyn and solve the mystery.

The case features over 30 interconnected mini-mysteries that intricately weave and cross-reference each other to shape the narrative (related article). A particularly intriguing gameplay aspect is that every action—such as opening a drawer, listening to a conversation, or moving between rooms—advances the in-game time by at least one minute. Players must make critical decisions like “I want to solve this mystery but don’t have enough time” or “I haven’t gathered all evidence yet, but it’s likely this is what happened.” Hidden rules govern gameplay: to uncover the truth, players must be present at specific locations at just the right moment.
