"Vampire Survivors" Begins Rolling Out v.1.14 with Online Co-op and New Features; Free Collaboration DLC with "Balatro" Also Arrives

poncle has today (October 29, 2025) released the latest update v1.14 for “Vampire Survivors” on select platforms: PC / PS5 / Xbox Series X|S / Nintendo Switch / PS4 / Xbox One / iOS / Android.
The update includes the implementation of online cooperative play, and in conjunction with this release, a free collaboration DLC titled “Ante Chamber” with the deck-building game Balatro is also being made available.

The free DLC “Ante Chamber” introduces new elements themed around Balatro, including four characters, four types of evolvable weapons, a new stage, and remix tracks.

In the online cooperative mode, unlike local co-op where players share a single screen, each player has their own independent view and can freely explore stages. Note that to play DLC content, all participants must individually own it; poncle also notes this is due to technical constraints originally stemming from the game being designed as a single-player title before its online conversion.
Additionally, v1.14 introduces two new stages: “Westwoods,” themed around gambling, and “Mazerella,” centered on mazes. Numerous other additions include new characters and evolvable weapons.
A major update has also been applied to last year’s October 31 release collaboration DLC with “Castlevania: Lords of Shadow”, titled “Ode to Castlevania.” This update adds 16 new characters, three weapon types, and 12 additional BGM tracks.

The price is 400 yen (tax included). Until November 5, it’s on sale at a 25% discount for 300 yen (tax included).
Outside the game, crowdfunding has also launched for the board game Vampire Survivors: The Board Game. As of this article’s writing, it has already raised over 160 million yen—surpassing its goal by 700%.

Kickstarter: Vampire Survivors: The Board Game
The next update is expected to be released in Q1 2026. Planned improvements include quality-of-life enhancements for managing the game’s vast content, reducing screen chaos during later stages, performance optimizations for low-spec machines, and the addition of more save slots.
Additionally, a new announcement is scheduled for November 14.
