Square Enix announced on October 28, 2025, that a collaboration event with Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII will be held starting November 1st for the smartphone app “WAR OF THE VISIONS FINAL FANTASY BRAVES EXVIA: Phantom War” (iOS / Android). The event will run until December 16th.
Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, released in November 2013, is an RPG serving as a sequel to Final Fantasy XIII-2. It follows the story of protagonist Lightning as she strives to save a world on the brink of destruction.
During this collaboration, players will be able to obtain exclusive units Lightning, Noel, and Snow. New collaboration vision cards—“Swords for the World,” “The Liberator,” and “You’ve come to kill me, haven’t you?”—will also be added. Noel will become a gacha character, while Snow and his voice chat line “You’ve come to kill me, haven’t you?” are scheduled to be implemented on November 6th.

Additionally, the 6th Anniversary Special Event “6th Anniversary Treasure Hunt: Toward New Frontiers” is launching simultaneously. In conjunction with this event, various initiatives will be introduced, including a free summon offer of up to 600 pulls, and the Off-Party Support Campaign 2025.

Furthermore, the release of Chapter 3 Plus of the new story arc Another Story has been confirmed. The first episode will be unveiled, featuring a key visual and new outfits for characters such as Grace, Jaden, Saria, and Volke. More details about this announcement will follow in due course.
