Today (October 29, 2025), DON’T NOD has released a trailer for its upcoming title “Aphelion”, available on PC (link), PS5 (link), and Xbox Series X|S (link).
The game is an action-adventure that follows two astronauts, Thomas and Ariane, who are separated on an unknown planet after their spaceship crash-lands. Thomas must survive by exploring the surrounding environment while injured, while Ariane ventures through dangerous terrain such as ice cracks and icy walls in her mission to rescue him.

Notably, the latest trailer features a mysterious lifeform encountered by Ariane. The creature has numerous tentacle-like appendages, but toward the end of the trailer, parts resembling mechanical components are also visible.
As DON’T NOD developed “Aphelion” with the support of the European Space Agency, fans can expect deep storytelling and authentic world-building. The game is scheduled for release in 2026. According to information on its Steam store page, Japanese language support is currently unavailable, but there’s hope it will be added in the future.
