Amazing Seasun Games is exhibiting at the Tokyo Game Show 2025, which runs from September 25 to 28, 2025, with a booth showcasing “Mecha BREAK.”

This game, which officially launched on July 2nd, is a mech battle title where players take on the role of pilots, boarding various mechs to engage in team-based combat. The September update introduced two new mechs: “Helm” and “Alphard,” bringing the total number of implemented mechs to 17.

At this year’s booth, visitors can enjoy a special trial station designed like a cockpit, photo spots inspired by rooms from the game, and a gift corner offering merchandise for those who participate in trials.

While casually walking past the booth, I overheard someone saying, “Huh, it’s been a while since service started, but they’re really pushing promotion hard,” and then was handed a flyer by staff without much thought. That flyer is shown in the photo below.

Accompanied by words like “Venue-exclusive” and “Limited quantity, first global release,” the figure depicted looks unmistakably like a purple-colored Falcon. Could this be an exclusive special edition action figure of the Falcon?

Let me briefly explain about the Falcon figure. The Falcon is a transformable mech featured in Mecha BREAK, known for its slender body and massive wingspan. It’s currently the only official model released by Mecha BREAK as a 230mm-tall alloy action figure produced by MOSHOWTOYS from China.

MOSHOWTOYS, the manufacturer behind this figure, is known for producing figures based on their original robot IP “Ancestor Effect (Projektor Effect),” and in recent years has also released figures of Japanese IPs such as “Sengoku Magic God Goshogun” and “Mechanical Genesis Mospieda.”

Given MOSHOWTOYS’ solid track record, it’s no surprise that the Falcon figure is exceptionally well-made. As someone who personally purchased the physical model during a business trip to China, I can confirm its proportions are excellent, articulation is superb, and it’s large in size with strong presence—making for an extremely satisfying toy.

This particular Falcon action figure was officially released in Japan only as 1,400 sets of the Collector’s Edition “Custom Box Set: Falcon,” which features different detailing and a gold color scheme (related article). However, its price—tax-inclusive 57,000 yen—is quite high despite the many included bonuses, leading many players to give up in frustration (“Gnunu”). I was one of them.

Now, this venue-exclusive Falcon is being sold at a merchandise stand far from the Mecha BREAK booth (in fact, very distant), but there’s also a display area inside the Mecha BREAK booth itself. There, three versions were confirmed: standard edition, collector’s edition, and venue-exclusive edition.

Additionally, a prototype of the yet-to-be-released “Ryūen” figure was on display in this area. From conversations at the booth, it seems productization has not been finalized—so this appears to be just a sample.

Still, since it’s explicitly labeled as an alloy action figure by MOSHOWTOYS, there’s reason to remain optimistic about its potential release. After all, one might reasonably expect that “If Ryūen gets released, we’d definitely want the armored version after purging!"—and indeed, the booth had a display showing exactly that final form. Very thoughtful.

Of course, I immediately headed to the merchandise stand and purchased the venue-exclusive version without hesitation. The price was 14,000 yen (tax included). Note that the standard edition Falcon is also available at the booth for 12,000 yen (tax included), so the limited edition is slightly more expensive.

For reference, the regular-priced Falcon in China costs roughly 8,000 JPY. Even though it can’t be sold directly in Japan, this makes it about 1.5 times higher—yet when I held the Chinese version myself, my immediate reaction was: “So cheap! If I bought one here, they’d probably charge me around 14,980 yen!” So considering quality, it’s still quite affordable.

If you’ve been wanting to get your hands on a Falcon figure, make sure to head straight to the merchandise stand.

Just to digress a bit, let’s talk briefly about Chinese robot hobby products. Due to frequent business trips to China, I’ve become quite fascinated by the scene after attending various events and seeing numerous robot hobbies firsthand. In recent years, Chinese manufacturers have produced remarkably high-quality robot model kits and figures.

For example, “MOTORNUCLEAR” kits are particularly interesting. They use metal frames that allow for excellent posing, deliver strong weightiness, and feel almost like a figure in terms of texture. The sharp, pointy design—seemingly ignoring safety entirely—is tough to assemble but results in an incredibly cool final product. Honestly, my hands hurt just handling them.

It’s fascinating how different their approach is compared to Japanese model kits—they’re aiming for completely different goals. It’s a pity they aren’t officially sold in Japan.

Among items available here in Japan, I personally recommend figures from CCSTOYS. They produce figures based on well-known robots from the “Super Robot Wars” series, and this manufacturer excels at creative reinterpretations while still maintaining strong visual appeal. Plus, they’re massive—big and heavy—with overwhelming presence. In fact, just like with the Falcon or MOTORNUCLEAR models, Chinese robot figures are generally large in scale. You might even find that your standard Japanese figure case won’t fit them.

Enjoying these uniquely different robot figures from China is definitely a refreshing experience. And now, this impressive version of the Falcon—crafted by a Chinese manufacturer—is currently on sale at the Tokyo Game Show 2025 merchandise stand. I opened my venue-exclusive edition straight away upon returning to my hotel room, so allow me to proudly show it off here.
