Known for offering excellent value in price-to-spec ratio among gamer displays, Pixio is showcasing a wide range of monitors and related products at Tokyo Game Show 2025 (hereafter TGS2025).
Meanwhile, one particular item stood out among their display—so I’d like to introduce it.

It’s the “smooth form” electric height-adjustable desk named PXDS1200EWH, currently under development for a winter 2025 release, and an unconventional “marshmallow chair,” the PXCH300WH.
The estimated price is 39,800 yen (tax included).

The height adjustment lever features Pixio’s logo—only upon noticing this did I finally realize, “Ah! This is a gamer chair after all!” Thumbnail image No. 004 / Experience Pixio’s gamer chair, an invisible “marshmallow” chair for gamers at the Pixio booth—its seat can be lowered significantly [TGS2025]

Let’s start with the marshmallow chair.
At first glance, it looks like a fairly stylish ordinary chair—so much so that I initially thought, “Maybe they just brought some random chair to match their corner design?” But when I realized this was actually a gamer chair, I was genuinely surprised.
Typical gamer chairs usually resemble racing seats or high-end business office chairs—but introducing something as stylish and unique as this could significantly broaden the user base.

The surface is soft fabric material, with fixed backrest and armrests. It slightly moves forward and backward when sitting deeply, but it lacks a reclining function.

What makes this product stand out is how low its seat height can go.
Most existing gamer chairs tend to have relatively high seats—however, such chairs often prove inconvenient for shorter users, especially short women whose feet don’t reach the floor.
In response to these concerns, Pixio designed the marshmallow chair with a significantly lowered seat height. With this chair, even small adults or children will be able to keep their feet flat on the ground.

Additionally, feedback from female streamers who often play games while sitting cross-legged prompted Pixio to slightly widen the seat’s width for better comfort when sitting cross-legged.

However, one minor concern: both backrest and seat fabric are fully fixed to the chair frame. Over time, seats inevitably get dirty—though this model won’t have that issue, future models could benefit from a removable seat cushion at least, allowing it to be washed easily.

Although targeted toward women gamers, the design is neutral enough that men would likely find it appealing too.

On the other hand, the electric height-adjustable desk features nearly all-white styling—except for the control panel and its cable.
With a desktop width of 120 cm, this can be considered relatively compact.

One of its standout features is that the underside of the desktop has been kept flat—extending slightly away from the edge. This makes it easy to attach Pixio’s clamp-style monitor arm (display mount).
When support structures are too close to the desk edges, mounting a clamp securely becomes difficult—but this electric desk eliminates such concerns.

Viewed from underneath: the entire area from both side edges of the desktop to where the supports stand is kept flat—making it much easier to install a monitor arm Thumbnail image No. 006 / Experience Pixio’s gamer chair, an invisible “marshmallow” chair for gamers at the Pixio booth—its seat can be lowered significantly [TGS2025]

The other key feature is that, when paired with the marshmallow chair, the desktop can be set to an extremely low height. The next photo shows both the desk and chair at their lowest positions—compared to nearby shelves or tower-type PCs, you’ll get a clear sense of just how low they become.

Combined setup: electric desk and marshmallow chair at their absolute lowest—the feel is almost like sitting on a footstool Thumbnail image No. 007 / Experience Pixio’s gamer chair, an invisible “marshmallow” chair for gamers at the Pixio booth—its seat can be lowered significantly [TGS2025]

Even the “up” function reaches a considerable height, enabling standing desk use—ideal for working while standing.

Maximum raised position: it can go high enough that even an average adult male might think, “Wow, that’s really tall!” Thumbnail image No. 008 / Experience Pixio’s gamer chair, an invisible “marshmallow” chair for gamers at the Pixio booth—its seat can be lowered significantly [TGS2025]

Neither product conveys the typical masculine image associated with gamer furniture—making them suitable not just for women, but also for any gamers who appreciate white furniture.
If you’d like to see these in person, be sure to visit Pixio’s booth at Hall 9 of Makuhari Messe.
