XD has announced today (October 26, 2025) that the closed beta test for its upcoming title “Blue Protocol: Star Resonance” (available on PC / iOS / Android) in Japan will begin on November 6. Alongside this announcement, recruitment for the closed beta test has started, and a new trailer has been released.

As previously reported on September 29, Blue Protocol: Star Resonance is an anime-style MMORPG sharing the same world as the online action RPG “BLUE PROTOCOL,” which ended service in January. The game has already been officially launched in China on July 17, with a Japanese release planned for within 2025.

The title was also showcased at Tokyo Game Show 2025 (see related article), but this closed beta test features significantly more content than the demo version shown during that event. Players can look forward to enjoying combat and character progression systems, Battle Imagination, dungeons, raid battles, and a rich main storyline. Additionally, numerous casual gameplay elements such as fishing, crafting, and housing have been added. XD announced today (October 26) that the closed beta test for Blue Protocol: Star Resonance—an anime-style MMORPG sharing the same universe as BLUE PROTOCOL developed by Shanghai Bokura Technology Co., Ltd.—will begin on November 6. Along with launching the beta test, recruitment has started and a new promotional video (PV) has been released.

This beta test offers vastly more content than the trial version presented at Tokyo Game Show 2025. Players will be able to enjoy expanded combat and progression systems, Battle Imagination, dungeons, raid battles, and a fully developed main storyline. In addition to intense gameplay, numerous casual features such as fishing, crafting classes, and housing have also been added—so please look forward to it!
